Dev's pursuit of a solo career eventually led him to New York City. Although his album was shelved due to creative differences, Dev's passion for both music & the sciences remains undiminished. He holds several degrees including a doctorate and balances his life between his homes in Rehoboth Beach and the Cayman Islands where he continues to perform and study medicine.
